BASICS

A CYOA ^{(Choose Your Own Adventure)} is a plotted event in which specific characters can obtain plot-relevant information or exclusive items. Unlike the mid-week mini-events, these are threaded in private and involve heavy mod participation. Please keep in mind that participating characters often risk minor to severe injury as well as other potential consequences, depending on their choices in the situation they're faced with.

MOD RUN CYOA

There will be two (2) mod run CYOAs in this particular game. These will require heavy tagging and coordination with your fellow players over the course of the week, as they must be completed before Friday, or ideally before Thursday at 8PM EST | 5PM PST. Please be aware of your schedule and time constraints when you sign up!

All sign-ups will be screened, and a certain number of players will be rolled to participate. We will be doing our best to ensure that everyone in the group has similar tagging schedules for timing purposes, usually based on timezones, but don't be afraid to toss your name in the hat! While we can't guarantee that every player will be able to go on a CYOA, we want everyone who is interested to have a chance.

And if you aren't chosen, we'll keep your sign-up in the pool for the remaining CYOA. Since this game will only have two (2) mod run CYOAs, we politely ask that only players who have not already gone to sign up.

MINI CYOA

AKA location investigations.
Shorter than mod run CYOAs, these will be a quick way to learn more about a specific location and have a small adventure to participate and explore. These are a good way to investigate areas more closely and dig into things you may not learn right away at first glance.

You may sign up for these as soon as the weekly mingle has been posted, but we do ask that players limit themselves to one a week, and we will not take more than five per week. While you may do a solo mini CYOA, we encourage taking one or two other characters with you when exploring to make the most of it, especially considering that there are limited amount for each week.

NOTE:
For players who simply want to investigate a location but don't want to do a full mini CYOA may also do so. These don't count towards the weekly limit but we still ask that players use discretion when requesting these.
