I'LL EAT WITHOUT THINKING OF ANYTHING
[ were you talking to someone? maybe having a meal or relaxing somewhere. perhaps you were simply just walking from one place to another… it doesn’t matter because in the space between two moments, you are pulled away from a place that has slowly become familiar to you surrounded by people who you’ve come to know to a new place that is completely foreign to you. regardless of whatever attachments that you may have or haven’t had towards where you once were or to the people there, it doesn’t matter because you are here now.
in a space between two moments without any walls, ceilings, skies, stars, or anything to provide a hint as to where you are. the air does not feel stale nor does it feel dead, but somehow manages to feel unnerving in its calmness. there are no other sounds than the ones that you make. no smells other than the ones that you bring with you. much the same, the only color that can be seen are the ones that you bring with you.
aside from three doors.
three ornately engraved mahogany doors positioned in this space to form a triangle. the doors don’t suggest where they could lead in their free-standing state; their frames unattached to anything and space around the doors being just that. space. however, examining the doors closely will reveal that they have all been adorned with a shimmering, golden plaque with numbers on them: 666, 999, and ∞. knocking on any of the doors will provide a sound that'll confirm that the door is solid but no clue as to what lies on the other side–should there be anything in the first place. ]

[ upon stepping through the door, they’ll find themselves in another place that they will not recognize with the door behind them immediately shutting behind them. trying to open the door after it shuts will prove to be fruitless as it will not budge and the more they tug on the handle, the harder it will be to hold onto it until the knob will completely disappear into the door itself. clearly the only direction that they’re allowed to go is forward.
the new room that they find themselves presents itself as a classic victorian styled bedroom; while much cozier than the room that they left, it will still leave much to be desired in how sparsely it’ll be decorated and how the wallpaper seems to peel in certain places. there are just a few framed paintings on the walls, an elegant but worn pair of curtains covering a window, a chaise lounge chair, victorian styled dresser, a desk, and bed with a canopy. as they explore and examine the finer details of the room, it’ll start to become clear that the room would be best suited for a female than a male (though who are we to follow strict gender norms here).
across the other side of the room is a door, but it isn’t a door that they’d expect to see as it’ll resemble the door that they had come through, but this time, with a different number on its golden plaque: 665. hanging on the doorknob will be a note that’ll read:
