There aren't really many stories about souls being damaged in Elympios... I think it's just universally accepted that if you injure that, you're probably bound for the next life soon.

Hmmm... But if the water is... corruptive, somehow, then doesn't that mean the entire soul would need to be cleansed still? Or do you think that making a part of the whole would purify it somehow?
Potentially. Though I have yet to have any success with that particular method. I wonder if it would take a greater level of energy than I have at my disposal.
I believe that would be a method that could work, however... 'twould depend on how long it would take. The infection leaves us with little room to work with.

I have to wonder. I believe it could be a possibility, to strengthen the soul or to "purify" it, in a sense. By means of purification, one could reasonably assume the infection would dissipate, or at least ease somewhat.
