[ he'll take a seat nearby and lean back, taking in the "sky" above ]
Have you ever seen an ink wash painting? Straight above is the deepest shade, a mix of dark blue and purple so deep it's almost black, but not quite - it's fuller from the color you know is there. Down the curve of the sky, everything gets lighter and lighter, until you hit the horizon that's still glowing a bit from the sun that just set. There's a great river of misty light stretching up across the arch, and everywhere you look, you can see stars falling. They drop out of the darkness, leaving streaks of light behind them, as they race to the horizon and vanish in a flash.

[ camping out in the wilds with Julius. traveling to Rieze Maxia, and exploring the vibrant lands there. ]
It reminds me how big life can be, if that makes sense. But this one here... maybe it's the place or everything that's hanging over us. It makes me feel like we're on the cusp of something. And it makes me remember how fleeting it all can be.
[ the melancholia is strong in this place ]
What about you? When you think of the sky, what do you feel?
[ Her sight wasn't always like this, and Ludger is hearing her first admittance of it here. ]
It reminded me of the mysteries that lay waiting beyond what was visible to the eye. So... I suppose it reminded me of the same concepts it brings to your mind.
[ She smiles, soft. ]
Now, I recall the days where I lived in a realm filled with light, where it was daylight at all hours of the day. I think of the occasion when night fell over our sky for the first time in a century.
[ The energy of that night was uplifting, filled with hope. Having the stars described to her now reminds her of it. ]

Your words do it plenty of justice, Ludger.
[ It's a lovely description, the sort she can imagine in her mind's eye. ]

Indeed it did. I cannot recall a time where celebrations were had so exuberantly. I daresay it is one of the memories I hold most dear.
