[ This girl is painfully vanilla, besides her (mumbles quietly). ]
I can understand that. [ There's something to be said for caring for others. ] I know I didn't see the reptile house when I arrived, but they seem like they're fine...? [How does that work?]
Oh, the four of us have access to more buildings than you all. Probably because we got here earlier? I've been checking on them every morning, even when you guys were here.
[Yugamu escorts her to the insect area, stopping in front of an enclosure labeled "Leo: Fringed Jumping Spider". Inside is a relatively large spider with big cartoony eyes. He wiggles his pedipalps when he sees Yugamu.]
From what I've read up on, this genus of jumping spiders is particularly intelligent. I think that's why he's realized I'm his friend because I feel him. He's a real kitten now. Sometimes I come in here to read and he just sits on my shoulder while he eats a cricket.

A soft sigh of relief. ]
Thank goodness.
Actually, how many more buildings are round? Can you tell what we can see?
no subject
Oh I wouldn't know how many more there are off the top of my head... But I'm sure they'll become visible to you guys in time.
Hehe, there's another one you'll recognize whenever it appears, actually. The bio lab is here!
[He's very pleased, understandably. That was like his second home at the LDA]

[ She spends a lot of time in here too, normally. ]
That must be really useful with disease research, right?

[He finally pushes the door open, ushering them into the warmer darkness of the building. Yaaaay creepy crawlies.]
Do you want to see my favorite?
no subject
[Anyway!]
I'd love to.
[Show her your favorite little guy.]

He really does seem to recognize you. [Human(?) nature to bond with other living things.]
no subject
I think he does. People really underestimate how intelligent animals can be, especially invertebrates.

I mean, it's not like anyone lives here that I'd be taking him away from... But also, they all seemed fine when we arrived?
[Did they even exist before the NPCs got here.... Unanswerable questions abound.]
But I feel like I couldn't just take him with me and not the others... But I also can't take this many animals home with me.

... The situation is sort of complicated and I don't really want to make you worry over it.

What other animals do you want to see? There's all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, and bugs in here.

He's the biggest one in here. Monitor lizards are very smart! Some smaller species even make good pets. But even this one likes being pet.

[ No way the artificial satellite has space for a zoo. ]
Do you pet this one a lot?
no subject
I like to give him a few pats when I feed him Or maybe a minute or two, sometimes. His skin has a cool texture.
no subject
Can I pet him now? Is it okay?
no subject
[Trotting over to do just that.]
no subject
I can get it. Just tell me where it is?
