Yeah! I've been doing most of my work in there. And pretty much all the rest in the morgue. The Reptile House is more just a place to relax.

[Yugamu escorts her to the insect area, stopping in front of an enclosure labeled "Leo: Fringed Jumping Spider". Inside is a relatively large spider with big cartoony eyes. He wiggles his pedipalps when he sees Yugamu.]

From what I've read up on, this genus of jumping spiders is particularly intelligent. I think that's why he's realized I'm his friend because I feel him. He's a real kitten now. Sometimes I come in here to read and he just sits on my shoulder while he eats a cricket.

I think he does. People really underestimate how intelligent animals can be, especially invertebrates.

I mean, it's not like anyone lives here that I'd be taking him away from... But also, they all seemed fine when we arrived?

But I feel like I couldn't just take him with me and not the others... But I also can't take this many animals home with me.

He's the biggest one in here. Monitor lizards are very smart! Some smaller species even make good pets. But even this one likes being pet.

I like to give him a few pats when I feed him Or maybe a minute or two, sometimes. His skin has a cool texture.

If you give him a treat he should let you! Let me get a salmon chunk out of the freezer, he likes the challenge of chewing on it frozen.
