I'd like to know more about the samples you've collected here and elsewhere. Whether you still have something to study from those who were taken, the differences between these individuals and the ones you've studied in the past, and whether it's possible to isolate the darkness that seemed to have taken root in them.
Most of what I use to study against are my notes. When I was in my home world, I took detailed notes of everything that I was finding out and what I was doing so that I would be able to continue working even if I didn't have live samples to work off of.
If "these individuals" are referring to Yuki and Lynne, then I haven't had enough time to really see the differences but there are more similarities than there are differences. [ and. ] In order to isolate the "darkness" is...a rather difficult task.

Then there has been no progress in stabilizing or isolating the substance?

... It seems to have some degree of self-preservation or reactive ability. It may even have its own intentions, given its form. I wonder how long it can survive in a host -- whether that's the right framework for addressing it.

They were, but reviving them with well water... revealed that they were very strange specimens.

I remember you were part of the experiments using blood at the greenhouse?
I was! Or well, the blood was something we tried when we were closer to the well testing the soil there. The soil from around there seemed to help revive the plants a little, though it still needed the water itself... But also the soil around there seemed... almost hungry, you know?
