I have a few things I would like to address to the both of you. First, I mentioned I confirmed that the dead are still with us, correct? I have also made mention that I believe those strange "hands" may be a breakthrough in terms of treatment for this infection.

Mayhap this is a leap, but as those hands have dragged away our dead, I believe that this breakthrough lies with them. Nay, I believe the cure itself is with them, if only we are able to find a proper means of communication to establish as much. I myself sent a charmed broom down the well earlier in an attempt to see if it makes its way back up here. We still have more we need to do if we want to find the key to this cure, so if you've any ideas on reaching them, I will hear them.
