SO STRONGLY DO I WISH...
TELL ME. TELL ME. TELL ME.
[ with as little fanfare as they arrived, as well as many things have been, a gate, unlike the other doors that they have passed through, appears—an exit. a means to allow them to return where the others are just as they have asked of her. just as magi said that she would—as is her nature. after hearing all of their wishes and hearing all of their desires—the reminder that it's necessary for them to return back with the knowledge gained to fulfill the other wish—magi fulfilled it.
and she fulfilled it while returning to the small young petite woman that they had first encountered in this room. gone are her monstrous size and the hands that she had at her disposal and the only thing left was magi. magi in a form fitting black dress with a shawl sharing the appearance of an aurora in the night sky draped over her shoulders. she smiles at them as they leave but does not wave them goodbye or says anything to them.
she does not offer to heal their wounds because she knows that they would rather leave her. (but at least they do not bleed with the tenderness of the injury and the way that the wound is opened to the air being what they're left with.) their desire to leave her surpasses most of the other desires that she's able to understand from them. so, she will simply watch them all leave and will close the gate behind the last of them to leave.
whether or not they meet again is uncertain, however, if they wish to see her, then there might be a chance. until then, they'll find between them thirty (30) syringes in their possession. as an unspoken gift from magi, perhaps these, too, are necessary in the cure for the illness. ]
[ they are definitely going to need to like, teamwork this to crowdsource enough hands to hold all these syringes if they're scattered between them and half of them are holding up the other half. and half of them might also be missing some hands. nevermind being delirious from pain. ]
