I see you've come upon a book I intended to retrieve for myself.

He tilts his head at their presence. ]

How fortunate that I had found it when I did, then. I could perhaps consider keeping it for myself.

But, yes. You're correct.

Magic of various types are within my interests. You can say it's more or less something I'm familiar with. Offensive more than any other.

[ well, anaxa will find themselves a little puppet digging around the grounds with its little puppet hands. ...unfortunately, it will not be very successful in its efforts as it'll only have made a puppet sized dent into the ground.

this puppet is trying its best at every moment of its puppet life, okay? ]

[ hello anaxa, in response to the letter, he'll receive instructions to meet it inside of the infirmary where he'll find the puppet already sitting in one of the chairs in the lobby area. ]

That's such an ominous letter that you sent me.

[ Anaxagoras leaves the infirmary.

He comes back with the board, hauling it in. ]

[ Anaxagoras will receive a note in reply asking him to meet in the sitting room. That's where Sage will be, the puppet siting atop one of the little tables. ]

[ Anaxagoras speaks up right away...it is kind of odd to see the puppet where its seated but it is whatever.

First and foremost, did you manage to uncover anything new regarding the well? Or was I correct in my presumption?

The well is particularly powerful, though I have difficulty determining its precise strength.

[ But to someone like Anaxagoras, maybe that means something? ]

A surprising development for me, as I usually have no trouble determining the power of something else through my sight.

I've overheard of a lot of discussion about rituals and how the wishes or desires of people may be part of a process in order to fuel something.

[ pardon me if i'm too lazy to immediately grab the exact thread but you know. ]

What if there is no ritual but that this is just part of the process? Like the Ouroboros. The infection and the corruption is just part, or a byproduct, of the wishes and desires being fulfilled?

[ Ah, the relaxation nook, a place that's more or less welcome as a place to convene at.

For as much as he doesn't like their situation, it is a little convenient nice areas like this keep popping up. But, anyway... ]

In regards to new discoveries on my end, I would have to say not too much more than what was mostly brought up in the meeting.

...Although, there is the matter of more results regarding observing the sky. I'm starting to wonder if my attempts alongside Urianger's may be met with purposeful resistance, even if we have been able to glimpse something of note...

What is it you have seen? I am unable to perceive the sky on my own, so I would like to know. I do have something I would like to share on my end as well.

[ She asks Anaxagoras to meet her in the sitting room, where she'll be in a chair next to a table. On that table is a pot of tea, two cups next to it already steeping. ]

As fate would have it, I have not managed to avoid it. My sense of touch has been disrupted.

[anaxagoreia]

[ Anaxagoras checks the kind of tea out of curiosity, but also takes the moment to blow on it. ]

...That is something I haven't experienced.

Though, today I can't smell much of anything. Including meals or drinks.

[ ...but at least he can taste it? ]

However, this is better than yesterday's irritating effect.
